Plastic laboratory division of Abdos began its operations in 2009 with a vision to become a well-known global brand. The manufacturing facility is located at Roorkee, Uttarakhand about 4 hours from India capital New Delhi. The manufacturing infrastructure comprises of highly precise, reliable and fast moulds and machines that produces consistently high quality products. Only pre-selected and specialized medical grade USP class VI certified raw material is used in the production process.

Multilayer laminated tube division of Abdos began operations in 2004 with a vision to produce cosmetic, oral care, pharmaceutical tubes and for similar applications for Indian and overseas market.

Abdos Polymers, founded in the year of 1995 has remained a pioneer in the Indian Raffia industry. The PPHDPE Woven Sacks plant in the NCR region was established with a manufacturing capacity of 1800 metric tonne per annum and the latest infrastructure. Since then the company has tripled its production capacity to 5400 metric tonne per year, expanded its product portfolio significantly, and started exports to various countries around the world while conforming to the strictest quality standards.

Eager to tap unexplored markets and expand its product portfolio, the company recently branched out to manufacture BOPP Laminated Bags and has set-up a strong customer base in a very short period of time, both in the domestic & global markets.

abdos' first detergent plant, established in 1976, manufactured okay detergent for tata oil mills, which was subsequently merged with hindustan lever (unilever). About this time we identified the need for an independent brand of our own and repacked tata soda ash under the company's brand name sun soda ash. Abdos' understanding of its consumers and market opportunities in west bengal led to expansion and the company could introduce iodized salt and detergent powder in its product-line. The brand name we adopted, "tao" signifies path in chinese reflecting the company's progressive growth.

bdos entered into the world of contract manufacturing around 1990. The company's projects expanded from manufacturing detergent cakes and powders to include hair oils. Originally we worked for Tata Oil Mills Ltd. to manufacture their brand's hair oil, which was later renamed Nihaar Hair oil when the Tata Oils Mills Ltd. was merged with Hindustan Levers. Abdos Oils was created in March '97 to extend our manufacturing line-up and accommodate the different merchandise of Ms. Hindustan Unilever Ltd.
