On an average, it yields 2 kg of milk every day.

Patira Goat is a breed of goat that is native to India. The coat of this variety of goats is mainly white in colour with black patches that occur intermittently. These are bred for their milk as well as for meat. They are usually heavy in size and yield a good amount of meat from a single goat. Both female and male goats tend to have horns.

The Sirohi Goat is a medium sized variety of goats that is native to the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. Their coat is mainly brown with occasional dark or light patches while some are completely white. This variety of goat is mainly raised for its milk and meat. The Sojat Goat is originally from Rajasthan and is a cross breed of the Jamunapari goat. These are also called as a variety of Jamunapari goat. Their coats are generally white in colour with occasional tan and black marks here and there. There are quite heavy and are particularly used to get meat. They are usually given as a sacrifice for the Muslim festival of Bakrid. On an average, a Sojat goat gives around 1 to 1.5 kg of milk every day.
