These Pendant Control Stations are used for cranes and other appliances in dry or wet indoor. Our Anti Collision System is a safety device used to avoid collision of two electric overhead travelling cranes working on the same rails. For one pair of cranes one set of Anti Collision Systems is required. Each set of Anti Collision System consists of an emitter/sensor module and a reflector. The System works on the principle of retro-reflective infrared waves. The emitter emits the infrared waves in the direction of the reflector. The reflector reflects these infrared waves back to the sensor. The sensor senses the presence of these reflected infrared waves and activities an alarm signal and stops/reduces the speed of the cranes. Thus if the two cranes are away from each other then the reflected waves will not reach the sensor and the cranes operate normally. The sensing distance is adjustable between 3 to 10 meters. Anti Collision System, offered by us, is specially designed for the crane application and is suitable for the continuous duty.

We offer Thruster Brakes to the clients. Thruster Brake is a device used to retard the speed of moving machinery and to stop it accurately to the desired position. The braking force is applied to the brake shoes by a pre-stressed comprising spring. The shoes press on the rotating brake drum retarding its speed and finally stop it. The releasing of the brake drum and compressing of the spring is done by Thruster Brake.
Construction :
Operation : The braking pressure to the shoe is transmitted from the spring by means of an extremely rigid and simple lever / tie rod mechanism. Braking is smooth and positive. Release of the brake shoes is affected by energizing the 3 phase thruster which overcomes the spring force & the shoes are moved to clear off the drum by lever arm linkage system. The mechanism is balanced to give equal shoe clearance.
