Parts and Functioning :
  • Frame : Very rigid Frame is constructed from solid plates with interlocked design. The interlocked of Frame supports the Ram and Bed against any unexpected deflection under permissible loading condition
  • Ram and Bed : Ram and Bed are made out of steel plates in suitable thickness. These are fully machined for straightness and parallelism and their upper surface is scraped properly with straight edge and its accuracy is checked with spirit level
  • Drive System : The gears are pinion in the Drive System are accurately machines from alloy steel, mounted on the shaft. The gears system provides appropriate speed to balance the transmission of torque on the eccentrics
  • Ram Adjustment Mechanism : Press brake is provided with motorized ram adjustment making it very easy to adjust the shut height to a desired value. It is linked to the overhead eccentrics by heavy connecting rods and screw spindles. Motor drives the adjustment screw through gearing in and out of connecting links, thus providing ram adjustment at convenient speed
  • Clutch and Brake Assembly : Clutch and Brake Assembly are manufactured from high quality alloy steels and are designed to provide easy accessibility, simple adjustment to pick up load from standing start allowing frequent start and stop operation, the clutch assembly is duly hardened and tempered for frequent use. The brake is interlocked with clutch to stop the ram immediately at any point of motion when the clutch is released
  • Lubrication System : Every moving part is provided lubrication through manual lubrication pump for smooth functioning
  • Standard Equipment with Machine : Standard ‘v’ blocks punch, back gauge, motor pulley manual lubrication pump, two electrical motor i.e. one for ram adjustment and other for main drive, starters etc.
