Our crash rated drop arm combines speed and control to deliver an exceptional access control system. This system is perfect for emergency entrance ways where ambulances and fire trucks need quick access onto a facility. The crash rated beam can be operated in five to ten seconds under normal operating conditions, and under three seconds for fast emergency situations. The beam is ideal for operating in conditions ranging from -30o f to 200o f, making it the preferred choice among drop beams for cold weather and wet weather applications.

This rectangular rigid steel beam is driven by an actuator that is designed to move heavy weight at high velocities, over heavy duty cycles. Overheight detection systems are used to detect oversized vehicles and individually alert drivers of an upcoming overhead obstacle. Vehicles may be restriced to certain areas due to the height of bridges, tunnels, overpasses, canopies, parking structures and other low hanging configurations. The detection system will alert and allow the driver of the vehicle to take action in order to avoid a possible deadly and unwanted collision.

Overheight detection systems include an overheight detector, warning signs, and in some applications a height restrictor. The overheight detector can either be radar beams, long hanging tubes andor chains that create noise when rubbed against the top of the vehicle. The radar detects the oversized vehicle and sends an electronic warning to the led caution sign. The sign will light up with the appropriate warning and visually alert the driver of the danger ahead.

The license plate reader (lpr) system brings a new dimension of decision-making information for security and traffic management. It uses a unique, patented approach that automatically detects the presence of any vehicle in its field of view, captures an image containing the license plate, locates it and reads the plate number and state of origin. The lpr can read all types of license plates retroreflective, non-retroreflective, embossed, flat, and others, allowing the system to identify vehicles with no plates or with plates that may have become non-retroreflective due to dirt, snow or other factors.

Once the license plate is captured, the lpr processes the information in real time, thus minimizing the transit and wait times. The purpose of the cable barrier system is to prevent threat vehicles from exiting the access control point response zone and avoiding the controlled entry into the installation. Cable barrier systems are also designed to assist in preventing potential head-on collisions by capturing and redirecting errant vehicles that would otherwise traverse the median of a roadway. The specially designed posts with strategically positioned cables increase the systems ability to restrain various types of vehicles. Cable barrier systems are a cost-effective solution and are preferred by contractors for their ease of installation and broad federal highway administration accepted applications.

Wire rope
round 34-inch wire cables are pre-stretched during manufacturing to reduce stretching during impact. They are interwoven around special steel posts and securely anchored to the ground at each end. The wire cables consist of three strands (seven wires per strand) and have a minimum tensile strength of 110 kn. Each pre-stretched wire rope is highly tensioned, and with the three strand weave creates high postcable friction. This causes each post to act as a mini-anchor, which helps limit the extent of damage during impacts. These cable barriers assure satisfactory performance even around tight curves. Another major benefit of the interwoven wire ropes is that deflections are more predictable, even when long sections are impacted.

Tried and tested
full-scale vehicle crashimpact testing has been used to evaluate the safety performance of our tl3 and tl4 longitudinal cable barrier systems. All testing procedures were conducted as prescribed by the national cooperative highway research program report 350, recommended procedures for the safety performance evaluation of highway features.

UVIS provides a safe, rapid and thorough method of examining passenger and commercial vehicles undercarraiges. The UVIS includes a user friendly touch-screen interface that makes inspections easier and faster. The entire underside of the vehicle is scanned to provide a complete full-color image that can be magnified up to 12 times. MAINTAIN A HIT LIST
Once a vehicle and drivers information is entered, the software will automatically populate this information for future visits, saving the user valuable inspection time. With this information, the user can then determine how many times the vehicle has been at their location and can determine if the vehicle is on a Hit List. If a vehicle appears on a hit list, the software will then alert the user, provide a reason for the alarm and can email anyone wishing to be notified of the vehicles presence.
