GSL was established in the year 1955 under the name of Swatantar mechanical works. The Company under the chairmanship of Ajit Singh Swatantar, ventured into the textile world by manufacturing Carding machines. During 1980’s, the Company was renamed as GSL Textile India Pvt Ltd. The current chairman Mr. Ghansham Singh Lotey, expanded the business and started indigenous manufacture and supply of other cadre of Textile machinery. GSL International With over 4 decades of experience and expertise, today GSL offers wide range of textile machinery including: Finishing machinery - Raising, Shearing, Brushing, Polishing and Seuding. Carding machines – Worsted, Semi-Worsted and Woolen Cards, Jute Card, Silk Card, Turbo Card and Air Random Cards. Gill Boxes – Intersecting Gill Head (Jute), Chain Gill Head, Rotary Gill Head, Crimping & Trimping system (for Jute / Silk / Sizal / Hump / Banana Fabric) Pilot plants – For Education and R&D institutes. Woolen cum Semi-worsted pilot plant, Cotton pilot plant and Woven pilot plant. GSL products have proven track in processing all kind of fabrics ex: Pollar, Cotton, Polyester, warp knitting, weaving, and Terry Towel etc. fabrics. The Company’s objective has always been to innovate, design and produce Cost effective machinery to the Customers. The R&D division of GSL endeavors to innovate, design and develop machinery that is highly efficient, multi-functional, integrated with reduced cost. The ‘GSL Galaxy Tandom Bhupa Jute Card Model BF 3000’ developed and patented is a big testimonial to this fact. GSL aims at building long-term sustained relationships with Customer by continuous focus on quality, delivery and service. GSL has 3 manufacturing units in Ludhiana, Punjab, India and the other manufacturing wings of GSL include: Spinning mill Development of special purpose components for other industry segments like Power plants and Automobile. GSL is equipped with best tool room facility lauded by many Customers. Tool room includes machinery supplied by Kirloskar. The CNC machines are setup to develop precision components.
