The Softdrink Monitoring System QUATROL.50S determines the following parameters: BRIX, %DIET, CO2, Conductivity, pH value, colour, temperature and impregnation pressure. The open and modular system allows the integration of additional sensors, the adaptation of the software, and the connection to external PC or PLC systems. QUATROL grows with customers demand and is adaptable to each plant structure. The system is installed by one of 2 options: Bypass: The components are mounted on a measuring rack, incl. sampling pump, the sensors are connected to the product pipe by a 3/8 stainless steel flexible tube. Inline: The sensors are mounted in the main pipe by an inline adapter. All measuring signals are determined, calculated and recorded by a micro computer system.

The PhaseGuard monitors interface changes of turbidity or colour. Three models of the PhaseGuard cover the possible applications: interface switching for turbidity (model T), for colour (model C), for high turbidity (model HT). The PhaseGuard is factory adjusted with a universal measuring range based on absorption. For simple applications and system integration the instrument configuration and communication can be easily done using the serial interface in combination with the existing outputs. For a more comfortable installation and operation the optional control unit SICON with touch screen technology and colour display can be connected.

The continuous online measurement covers by the Beer Monitoring System QUATROL.50B the following beer specific parameters: refraction number, density, CO2 value. The system determines fast and highly accurate the refraction number and the density of beer, from which the following beer characteristic values are calculated according to the Balling method:

• Alcohol in %vol and g/l


• Original wort direct and calculated


• Extract apparent and real


• Degree of fermentation


• Energy content in cal and kJ

The modular concept allows the installation of additional sensors, the adaption of the software and the connection of external PC or PLC systems. The QUATROL-system is adaptable to each plant structure and increases its capabilities with customers demand.

AquaMaster is a compact measuring system for the followingparameters: turbidity, pH, conductivity, Redox, dissolved oxygen and temperature.The various parameters can be combined individually. The colour touch screen of the AquaScat is the central control and display unit, as well as the connection to the host control system. Up to 8 measuring values can be transmitted. The measuring station is delivered completely pre-mounted. It requires only connecting the water inlet and water outlet.
