INTEGRAL LOW FIN TUBE

  • Tube/Pipe Size 12.7 MM to 25.4 MM outside diameter
  • Fin Height 0.56to 1.25 MM

Kasera Fin Tubes can offer substantially reduce the cost of Heat Exchangers and at the same time improve their efficiency through the use of a simple tool often overlooked by designers the integrally finned tube. Kasera low fin tubes can be ordered bent into U-tubes if required. Integral Low Fin Tube has the advantage that it can improve the thermal performance of a Heat Exchanger without the necessity for changing shell size, flow arrangement or the repositioning of piping. The external surface of the tube is increased by the formation of "low fins" by direct extrusion from the material of the base tube. In general, for a given heat transfers only one half of integral fin tubes are needed as would be required for bare tubes. This effectively saves more than 30 percent on tubes alone.

Turbulators

Kasera Fin Tube's turbulators are spiral strips and wire wound that can be easily installed to promote turbulence within the tube and enhance heat transfer of certain viscous fluids. Turbulators are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and nickel alloys. Kasera Fin Tube, the increase in surface area magnified so the convective heat transfer coefficient by increasing is provided. Heat convection coefficient to increase in heat exchangers in the turbulence-enhancing ways will be tried. Turbulators with a pipe in the air flow environment degradation and passive methods to improve are provided. Turbulators boiler smoke pipe placed inside boiler efficiency improvement is provided. Smoke pipe steam and heating boiler tion of the pipes passing through the flue gas with the pipe inner surface further contact with the right plate, and consequently, the pipe heat transfer to increase and thus flue gas on heat greater than the amount earned in the water to pass By lowering the temperature of the boiler to the smoke flow is used in order to raise productivity. Turbulators conical ring surface, and perforated spiral mixer palette has many varieties to. Turbulators be used; For the same heat capacity, lower fuel consumption, gain capacity and efficiency benefits, such as the optimum level up. Flat tube heat transfer coefficient for the Fluent using the results obtained with the literature, the connections used and the results are compared and the results of the% for a 20 with a difference is acceptable within limits that was observed. It next turbulators pipe straight pipe between the comparisons in the turbulators pipes, using straight pipes compared to ransferi temperature coefficient of 13% of luxury, such as heat transfer in a large increase in 28% of meters that have been identified. Gained as a result of this study with the use of thermo-dynamics of systems turbulators pipe and the capacity for increased efficiency of energy savings are proven right.

Integral Belled End Tubes

Belled end tubes are required in applications where finned tubes for maintenance purposes must pass through stationary tube sheets. Kasera Fin Tube's integral belled end finned tube eliminates the need for expensive silver brazing of the tube to bell and greatly extends the life of the belled end finned tube beyond that of any mechanically attached belled end. .

Finned Tube Support Collars

Kasera Fin Tube offers several different options to help provide stability and long life to our finned tubing. Collars can be used in high vibration and long tube length applications. Collars also reduce wear on fins that can lead to tube failure. Collars offered include cast-zinc, silicon, metal band, and packed fin. We can also place mid-bare sections (no fins) for customer supplied supports. Collars can be placed at any point throughout the length of the tube. Dimensional specifications are closely maintained to ensure proper fit up.

Welded Helical Solid Finned Tube

Kasera Fin 's Helical Solid Finned Tubes are produced by helically wrapping continuous fin strip on edge around the tube circumference and continuously welding the fin strip to the tube. The fin strip is held under tension and confined laterally as it is formed around the tube, thereby ensuring that the strip is in forceful contact with the tube surface. A continuous weld is applied at the point where the fin strip first begins to bend around the tube diameter, using the gas metal arc welding (GMAW) process. This welded steel finned tube configuration can be used for practically any heat transfer application, and is particularly suited to high temperature, high pressure applications. The important features of this configuration are efficient, effective bond of fin to tube under all conditions of temperature and pressure, and ability to withstand high fin-side temperatures. KASERA produces Welded Finned Pipe and Tubes in many different diameters and fin configurations and metal combinations to meet your heat transfer needs.

Welded Helical Serrated Finned Tube

KASERA Fin Tube's Helical Serrated Finned Tubes are produced by helically wrapping continuous serrated fin strip on edge around the tube circumference and continuously welding the fin strip to the tube. Before being formed around the tube, the fin strip is cut/serrated crosswise from one edge (which will become the outer edge of the fin segments) to within 1/4" of the other edge, leaving an uncut portion that will become a continuous base for the fin segments. The interval between cuts (which determines the segment width after the strip is formed around the tube) may be specified as either 5/32" or 5/16". After being cut, the fin strip is held under tension and confined laterally as it is formed around the tube, thereby ensuring forceful contact with the tube surface. As the fin strip is formed around the tube its outer (serrated) edge spreads, opening the segments like petals of a daisy. Several claims have been made for the advantages of Helical Serrated finned tube over Helical Solid finned tube . KASERA produces Welded Finned Pipe and Tubes in many different diameters and fin configurations and metal combinations to meet your heat transfer needs. The following table shows Kasera's manufacturing capabilities for helical serrated finned tube

Wire Wound Finned Tubes

  • Fin Height 5 to 25 MM
  • Wire Thickness 0.5 to 1 MM
  • Fin Per Inch 2 FPIto 8 FPI
These finned tubes have fins made of wire instead of strips. Continuous loops of wire are formed and are continuously soldered to the circumference of the tube to ensure 100% contact. Loops per turn and turns per foot can be altered as per surface area requirements. Due to continuous soldering of wire loops these finned tubes offer a very high heat transfer efficiency with less air pressure drop. Used in air cooled Oil Coolers in thermo Pac units and also used for Air Heating applications. We also supply bare tubes with Flexible turbulator inserts inside which are continuously soldered with the inside surface of the tube. These tubes can then be used for further finning by the Customers. This gives maximum turbulation with minimum pressure drop and has proved very effective for charge air coolers and Oil coolers. And gives excellent turbulation but has a higher pressure drop than the flexible type turbulator making it ideal for cooling oils which has low viscosity when hot and flow needs to be slower.
