Cast Iron Surface Plates are manufactured to specifications laid down in IS 2285 / DIN 876 or respective standards where products are exported. They are made from close grained Grey Iron Castings to IS 210 : FG 220. They are machined and finally hand scraped to achieve the overall flatness and also flatness within a specified area, as per standards. The sizes to which these are manufactured are 450 x 450 mm to 5000 x 2500 mm as individual plates and for achieving larger sizes more than one piece of the above sizes are used. For example to achieve a plate size of 5000 x 5000 mm we layout 2 plates of 5000 x 2500 mm and do the final erection at the customer's site.

Packaging Details : Individually packed and put in containers of choice for larger C.I. Surface Plates & T slotted plates. For Granite Surface Plates, depending upon the sizes on order, we individually pack and then collectively crate to be loaded in a container.
