HSS Circular Saw Blades (cobalt and Non Cobalt)
HSS Circular Saws are basically made in M2 grade but may also be alloyed with additional cobalt. Saw blades are delivered in different diameters and thickness as per customer orders and are delivered straightened, tensioned, set and in sharpened specifications. Solid HSS Saw Blades are heat treated and hardened to 64/65 HRC for ferrous cutting applications and 58/60 HRC for non-ferrous cutting applications. These blades may also be coated with special wear resistant coatings such as titanium nitride (TiN) or titanium aluminum nitride (TiAlN).
TCT Saw Blades
These have carbide tips attached to their teeth. They are more expensive than other blades but stay sharp much longer typically 20 times longer.
