The Jaganmohan Palace :- The palace has now turned to an art gallery and houses paintings of the late 19th century. The gold leaf paintings of Mysore are also exhibited here. The musuem also has a good display of musical instruments. Varahaswamy Temple :- This temple is devoted to Lord Varaha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Inside the temple one can see excellent sculptures and inscriptions. The temple is known for its grand Hoysala style architecture. Climate Mysore has pleasant weather throughout the year. Summers are warm and winters are cool. Heavy showers in the monsoon season between June to August is experienced. How To Reach Mysore has a railway station with frequent train services between Bangalore and Mysore.
