The Slack Adjuster DRV 2A 450 600 is a Brake Slack Adjuster i.e. a device for automatic adjustment of the clearance between brake blocks and wheels. It is built into the brake rigging as a part of a pull rod. This slack adjuster is double acting and rapid working i.e. it quickly adjusts too large or too small clearances to the predetermined value, it has been set to maintain.

Heat like light travels primarily by radiation and not by convection (air currents) or conduction (contact) and just like light, the flow of heat can be reversed by simple reflection. The heat transmission from the roof is by radiant heat. The operating temperature inside the room is reduced by up to 10°C on a hot day.

The air brake hose couplings are provided to connect brake pipeline and feed pipeline MR pipeline throughout the train. The coupling heads of the feed pipe MR coupling hoses are of opposite design to those of the brake pipe coupling hoses, For installation of the air brake hose couplings, they are provided with threaded nipples on one end of the hoses. These nipples are screwed on into the anglecock at the both ends of the wagons.

As an alternative to the air dryer, the supply system can be equipped with an anti freeze device and oil separator. The compressed air is then stored in a storage reservoir (also called a primary tank) from which it is then distributed via way protection valves into the front and rear brake circuit air tanks, parking brake air tank and an auxiliary equipment air tank. The system also includes various check, pressure limiting, drain and safety valves.
