  Feldspar are silicates of Aluminium and contains :
  - Sodium
  - Potassium
  - Iron
  - Calcium
  - Barium
  - or combinations of these elements
  Applications
  - Glass : Acts as a fluxing agent, reducing the melting temperature of quartz and helping to control the viscosity of glass.
  - Enamel frits and glazes : Assures the absence of defects and the neatness of the end product: e.g. Enamel Frits, Ceramic Glazes, Ceramic Tile Glazes, Sanitary Ware, Tableware, Electrical Porcelain and Giftware.
  - Flooring Sector : It is used as a flux
  - Ceramics: Improves the strength, toughness, and durability of the ceramic body, and cements the crystalline phase of other ingredients. It softens and melts other batch constituents.
  - Fillers : in as Paints, Plastics and Rubber.
  - In Tableware, Feldspar gives a good fusibility for a product without defects
  - Paint, Mild Abrasives, Urethane, Welding Electrodes (Production Of Steel), Latex Foam, The Welding Of Rod Coating, and Road Aggregate
  - In Sanitary Ware it is used within vitreous ceramic bodies
