This company was formed by a group of individuals in the year 2006 (Farmers, teachers & professionals). Since mango fruits were abundantly available in and around our place it was planned to initially produce mango pulp and then expand our operation to other fruits viz: guava, pine apple, papaya & tomato etc.
In the beginning itself it was decided to adopt the latest technology namely aseptic sterilization & filling along with canning facility. Accordingly the aseptic machine “Manzini” was imported from Italy in March 2007. Other associated machines were procured in India. M/S Lakshmi Vilas bank (LVB) is our banker. Though LVB is our banker most of the fund is internally generated within our partners for our ever growing needs.
The production was started in 2007 and from then onwards the company is running successfully. As of now we have completed eight seasons. Due to scarcity of laborers, most of our operations were automated in 2008.
24 hours EB power is available to our unit backed by three Diesel Generators (400,200 & 125 KVA). In house electronic weigh scale certified by Tamil Nadu State Authorities (weights & Measures) is also available to weigh the incoming & outgoing material.
Quality fruits are purchased from the farmers, sorted out, washed, de-stoned, pulped, refined, stabilized, de-cantered, sterilized and filled in aseptic bags. Organic & conventional fruits are processed in this unit. The original filling capacity of our sterilizer is 4MT (single strength pulp) per hour.. This year 2015 we are enhancing our production capacity to 7 MT per hour with all required necessary machineries..
In canning operation pulp will normally be filled in A4 cans (3.1 Kgs) whereas in aseptic pulp is sterilized (heated to 110 Deg C and then gradually cooled to 30 Deg C by using cooling & chilled water) & then filled in sterilized aseptic bags. The filling quantity can be either 204 or 215 kilograms per bag according to the need of the buyers / exporters.
The work is normally carried out on job-order basis to the exporters / local buyers. Some quantity is produced for our own local sale. On an average around 250 containers are processed per season. However due to increase in production capacity we are planning to go minimum 400 containers for the coming season.
The processed drums are properly labeled & stored in go downs (35000 sq.ft.). The exporters pick up the goods as when and required by them.
An additional microbiology lab (apart from ON LINE) was established in 2010 to meet the exporters demand (specifications) and also to double ensure the quality of the pulp.
This unit is TUV certified for ISO 22000 (includes HACCP) in 2010 which is very much essential for quality assurance & to meet the exporters /buyers specifications.
Fourt ripening chambers (capacity: 120 MT) were constructed in 2011 to improve yield & quality as demanded by the exporters / buyers. Two more conventional ripening sheds (21,000 sq.ft.) with the same capacity was added in 2013
Permanent accommodation (14000 sq.ft) for laborers was constructed in 2010 with all facilities. Canteen is also available to cater the need of the employees.
An “Effluent Treatment Plant” was also constructed to treat the effluents coming out of our unit and to meet the rules & regulations of the Tamil Nadu State Pollution Control Board (TNSPCB).
We keep expanding our unit year by year to meet the growing quality needs of the exporters’ specific requirements.
