Wheat, botanically known as triticum astivum has been cultivated and harvested by men for hundreds of years. Each wheat grain consists of three parts the germ, brain and endosperm and hence it comes in the category of whole grain. It can be regarded as one of the basic necessities of life due to its widespread usage in almost all food products.
