we are offering thermocouple is formed by an electric circuit. the circuit is formed by two metallic conductors(of different material) which are joined at their ends(hot joint).if the conductors are exposed to a thermal gradient, they will generate a potential difference. the temperature differential will be then obtained by the potential difference. the different kind of thermocouple is the result of the different materials that form the conductors, rica offers a great range of thermocouple (j and k), which are particularly suitable for plastics and packaging.‘j’ typepositive: ironnegative: costantantemperature range: 0-750℃characteristics: it is suitable for mean temperatures, in reducing atmosphere, in presence of hyerogen and coal. it is not suitable for oxidative atmospheres, due to the presence of iron.‘k’ typepositive: nicr negative: nickeltemperature range: 0-1200℃characteristics:. thermocouple formed by nickel alloy.it is suitable for high temperatures, in oxidative atmosphere. it is not usable in reducing atmosphcres.please contact us.
