The operation of the brake is fail safe type i.e. Normally ON. The brake is applied when the power to the motor is cut off. or power failure occurs. Being of simple & robust construction , these motors need very little maintenance. Special brake liners are used to ensure that braking torque remains constant throughout the use. Normally OFF can also be offered on special request.
These motors have been very well accepted by the Steel Plants and are offered in H Class Insulation with Duty Cycle S3 to S7 and stalled rotor withstand time as per requirement.
LHP Motors are approved by Indian Navy and are being supplied for Marine and Navy application. These motors are offered with 3rd Party inspection. The delivery is best suited to meet the schedule required by the OEM for meeting their deadlines to their end user.
The stepping motor is an electromagnetic device which converts digital pulses into discrete mechanical rotational movements. In rotary step motor, the output shaft of motor rotates in equal increments, in response to a train of input pulses. Its main features are instantaneous starting, stopping and reversing characteristics. There are no burnouts due to locked rotor, rotor can be locked at particular position, can be over driven without any damage .
