Tranter has four Manufacturing Facilities with full assembly and service capacity located at Wichita Falls–USA, Pune–India, Beijing–China and Vanersborg–Sweden. Smaller units are assembled locally at Sales Companies present globally.
Every Tranter manufacturing unit is ISO 9001:2000 certified, adhering to the highest standards in design, manufacture, and testing of both Gasketed and Welded Plate Heat Exchangers. Tranter is a member of HTFS, HTRI, ARI and ASHRAE and also a certified holder of the ASME U & R stamps.
Tranter’s Research & Development center for heat transfer plates is located in Wichita Falls, USA supported by a modern R&D facility in Pune.

Gasketed and Welded Plate Heat Exchanger : Tranter Make Gasketted Plate Heat Exchangers line of versatile plate and frame exchangers now
offers the broadest selection of plate designs and sizes in the PHE market. Tranter PHEs are
custom-made and are available in 35 different sizes with connection size varying from 25 mm to
500 mm. Gasket act as a sealing media between the heat transfer plates. Depending upon the
applications, Heat Transfer Plates are available in different material of construction like AISI 316,
AISI 304, Hastelloy C-276, Titanium, Ti-Pd, Nickel, Incolloy, Smo254 and other exotic materials.
Gaskets are available in different material of construction like NBR, EPDM, VITON and other
Tranter offers a wide variety of Welded PHEs for applications which limit the use of gasketted
PHEs due to gasket incompatibility or due to high pressure and temperature operating conditons.
Tranter’s range of Welded PHEs consists of MAXCHANGER, small sized welded heat exchanger
for oil cooling, subcooling applications, SUPERMAX, circular plate heat exchanger,
ULTRAMAX, a highly versatile product which can handle very high flow rates and Platecoil, prime
surface heat exchanger used for a variety of heat recovery applications.
Tranter’s all-welded heat exchangers are used for liquid-to-liquid, steam-to-liquid, gas-to-liquid,
gas-to-gas and refrigerant applications (including ammonia). Requirements up to 538°C operating
temperature and 70 bar working pressure can be accommodated.
Tranter believes in the fact that after sales service is an integral part of the sales process. Tranter
has set-up a first of its kind PHE service center at Vadodara in Gujarat for Servicing and
Refurbishment of PHEs of all popular makes and model. The service center is equipped with
ultra modern plate cleaning facility, regasketing, painting and hydrotesting facility.
Depending upon the extent of fouling and scaling, the heat Transfer Plates are pressure washed,
rinsed and treated with variety of acids compatible with plate material. Plates are then regasketed
with high Quality OEM replacement gaskets. Assembled units are hydrotested and packed
carefully Gaskets are available in different material of construction like NBR, EPDM, VITON and other materials are stocked in Tranter Servicing and Refurbishing Facility for service purpose only
