The genesis of the concept called tribe country lies in a genuine desire to develop and uplift the tribal populace in india and elsewhere.
after having interacted at various levels and researched the prevailing situation we decided to adopt a formal approach towards realizing this desire.
the idea was to ensure that it is neither a complete charity nor an absolute hands-off approach. This would make sure that the tribals would receive the much required help and at the same time would not get habituated to high levels of dependence.
to realize this we will directly be working right at the grassroots level either in person or through carefully chosen like-minded individuals and organizations that engage with the tribal folk. Starting with india, the aim is to cover every state and location and focus on those who acutely require help to gather their wits even to knock at the mainstream as well as those who have been initiated but need support & hand holding on the way.
as each of these tribal folk (individual or as a team) become self sufficient in one task/sub-task that goes to form the whole, they’ll be left to independently pursue those tasks with very subtle levels of sustenance support and taken to the next task/subtask and so on…
here,our main activities are promoting tribal produce by giving them a wider platform to exhibit their skills, developing & providing them an avenue for sustained income and ensuring that they get a fair remuneration for their efforts.
