Waterproofing Chemicals are nano- technology based hydrophobic agents designed for water repellence to a wide variety of surfaces. Incorporated with latest technology, these agents are designed for prevention, repair and maintenance of the buildings. Unlike various film of coatings, Waterproofing Chemicals do not seal the pores at the surface of concrete but it penetrates in to the pores and forms a very thin layer (nano-layer) on the pore walls. These pores can no longer be wetted by water and the capillary uptake of water is prevented. The pores on the surface may vary from 5– 200 nm but the size of WPT Seal is 4–6nm (0.005 micron).

Conventional water repellents give only a short term protection by forming a surface film. Long term protection is possible only by nano sized water repellent, which penetrates up to 4–5mm in to the surface providing capillary coating.
