We offer Daf flotation Clarifiers. DISSOLVED AIR FLOATATION CLARIFIER (DAF) Wock-Oliver's DAF , Dissolved air floatation clarifier has been widely used for industrial wastewater treatment. The typical industrial wastes treated by flotation are paper mill backwater, oily wastewater as well effluents from sugar, dairy, textile industries and tanneries Dissolved air flotation clarifiers or dissolved air flotation units (with 3 - 5 minutes of detention time) can replace sedimentation (with 2 - 3 hours of detention time) for clarification, has been overlooked by environmental engineers for many decades. Modern high rate DAF clarifiers have advanced to such an extent that they could overshadow conventional settling clarifiers in wastewater treatment. DAF hydraulic loading has increased from 1 Lm2.s to 2.5 Lm2.s and for a triple stacked unit to 7.5 Lm2.s. The detention time has decreased from 30 minutes to 3 minutes. Air dissolving is improved and now requires only 10 seconds retention time in the air mixing tube instead of the previous 60 seconds. The smaller size and weight of a modern DAF unit allow for inexpensive construction and flexibility of erection using prefabricated units. The availability of excellent flocculating chemicals gives a high stability of operation and high clarification degree.

Membranes act as a barrier to bacteria and suspended solids to produce a low turbidity treatment plant effluent with very low bacteria counts. MBR is the combination of a membrane process like microfiltration or ultra filtration with a suspended growth bioreactor. This very compact arrangement produces a MFUF quality effluent suitable for reuse applications or as a high quality feed water source for Reverse Osmosis treatment The submerged configuration relies on coarse bubble aeration to produce mixing and limit fouling. The energy demand of the submerged system can be up to 2 times lower than the side stream systems and submerged systems operate at a lower flux, demanding more membrane area. In submerged configurations, aeration is considered as one of the major parameter on process performances both hydraulic and biological. Aeration maintains solids in suspension, scours the membrane surface and provides oxygen to the biomass, leading to a better biodegradability and cell synthesis. MBRs operate at solid retention times (SRT) as low as 10–20 days, resulting in more manageable mixed liquor suspended solids (MLSS) levels (10-15 gL). Thanks to these new operating conditions, the oxygen transfer and the pumping cost in the MBR have decreased and overall maintenance has been simplified. Typical hydraulic retention times (HRT) range between 3 and 10 hours. In terms of membrane configurations, mainly hollow fibre and flat sheet membranes are applied for MBR applications.
