The Cryogenic freezers in the MVE Series provide stable cryogenic storage for up to 39, 000 1.2 / 2.0 ml vials. These cryogenic freezers provide maximum storage density as well as the industry’s longest hold time of all comparable cryogenic freezers. Although engineered for liquid storage, the MVE Series cryogenic freezers can be operated in vapour using available vapour storage accessory packs.

Shrink fitting is a method used in making mechanical joints when axles, bushings and similar are to be fitted inside a part with a hole. The hole is made slightly too small for fitting at even temperature, which means that the outer part needs to be heated or the inner part needs to be cooled.
Heating the outer part may take a long time, and in some cases metallurgical reasons may prevent heating altogether. However, cooling the inner part will not affect the property of the metal, and can be achieved much faster.
When using liquid nitrogen as a coolant, a temperature difference of up to 200 oC can be achieved. In order to cool the inner part it should be kept in liquid nitrogen (temp. -196 oC), which will make it shrink enough to fit in. The joint becomes durable when the temperatures of the parts are even.
Shrink fitting with liquid nitrogen is an ideal solution for these types of joints.

The superfine glass fiber Cryogenic Insulation paper is made of alkali-free glass fiber (diameter between 0.1-0.6μm) and fiber glass filament (diameter between 3-5 μm). According to a certain proportion, the paper is produced under the wet & vacuum forming process to make the paper have the space lattice structure. All the glass fiber is inorganic material, so it has outstanding flame retardant properties. Due to the space lattice structure of this paper, it makes both the thermal conductivity coefficient and specific heat flux of interlayer are extremely low when the paper is in a cryogenic environment. The low-pressure liquid transfer devices provide a means for dispensing, liquid nitrogen from a vacuum-insulated container.
The driving force for the liquid withdrawal is provided by sealing the neck tube opening of the container and allowing the gas pressure to build up, as the liquid evaporates. prevents the pressure inside the container from rising above this value.
A rubber plug forms the pressure seal between the container neck tube and the device. The chain secured to the container handle prevents the device from being forced out of the neck-tube by the internal pressure. Pressuring valve is used to release the container pressure before removal of the transfer device. The liquid transfer valve is a ball-type valve which goes from fully-closed to fully open in one-quarter turn.

Frosters cryogenic aprons offer the same technology and protection as that of the Frosters cryogenic gloves. The apron provides optimum protection for torso and upper legs against the effects of spills and splashes of cryogenic material. The outer layer of waterproof woven polyamide protects, even at the extremely low temperature encountered with liquid nitrogen, and yet is breathable. Thermal insulation is given by a polyolefin/polyester micro-fibre middle layer. The inner layer is of cotton for comfort. Frosters aprons are fitted with quick release clips at both neck and waist and our adjustable straps give a comfortable fit.
The outer layer, of royal blue, woven, polyamide, has a waterproof coating to resist condensed water on cold surfaces. The middle layer is of special polyolefin/polyester micro fibre, which is almost twice as effective in thermal insulation as a similar thickness of down. This minimises heat transfer without being so thick as to be cumbersome. The inner layer is of cotton for comfortable wear.
