Ointment Manufacturing Plants homogenize semi-solid with liquid ingredients to produce ointments, creams, lotions, and gels. For a complete automatic ointment manufacturing plant the three different vessels are interconnected by pipelines & valves. The water phase vessel heats water, the oil phase vessel melts jelly or wax into a liquid state, and the manufacturing vessel accomplishes blending operations for all available ingredients. Bottom and top entry agitators onto the vessel provided for homogeneous blending whilst at the bottom of the manufacturing vessel a high-speed chopper is included for easy high-shear mixing.

Roller compactor is used to compress the fine powders into denser sheets using mechanical pressure. The basic concept of compaction is to force the powder between two counter rotation rolls.
