Our Products
Straight Grade Bitumen is processed in our plant for a longer period. By this process, Bitumen becomes sludge/moisture free and softening/penetration values are improvised to a great extent. This is called Blown Bitumen and the same has the wide range of industrial applications. These Grades are further distinguished depending upon their softening points and penetration values.
Grade 85/25, 90/15, 115/15.
Industrial grade bitumen is used in waterproofing, damp proofing, acid/alkali resistant, subflooring, canal lining, road construction, joint fillers, lamination, battery sealing, a base for cable joining compound and manufacturing of paints, printing inks, explosives etc.
(IS:73-2006) Grade 60/70 and 30/40. Straight grade used in construction and maintenance of roads, airfields and allied constructions, manufacturing of bitumen Emulsions.
Bitumen is the end product in the crude distillation process. This raw bitumen is called Straight grade bitumen and has penetration values of 200-300. The straight grade bitumen obtained from the refineries is processed in our highly modernized plant through the exothermic reaction, to the relevant time limit to produce the desired Paving Grades as per the specifications.
Viscosity Grade bitumen is designed to take care of lowest temperature(responsible for cracking) and maximum temperature(responsible for rutting).
Polymer Modified Bitumen have binders whose properties have been modified by the use of a modifying agent which when added to the original bitumen alters its chemical structure and/or physical and mechanical properties in order to make it more resistant to temperature variations, weather and high traffic loads.
Commonly used modifying agents are polymers. depending upon the nature of the polymer, these modifiers can be classified as:
Plastomers: EVA(Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) , EBA(Ethylene Butyl Acrylate), ETP(Ethylene Ter Polymer) etc.
Elastomers: SBS(Styrene-Butadiene Styrene), SIS(Styrene isoprene Styrene).
Advantages of using PMB:Bitukote is a dispersion of selected grades of bitumen in water with inert and fibrous fillers. In original form, it is dark brown in color and on the application as it sets, it turns black. Once it sets, it remains plastic and is able to accommodate movements of pipes or vessels whose thermal insulation it protects.
Bitukote when applied over thermal insulation, protects it and keeps the moisture away and maintains their thermal efficiency. It gives joint-less coating and the coating is impervious to moisture. It possesses plastic qualities and can withstand vibration, temperature fluctuations, and accidental shocks.
crmb is a blend of selected grades of bitumen and modifier. The rubber modifier used, balances the required visco-elastic balance of the bitumen binder, which improves the resistance to thermal and low temperature cracking. Crmb has good adhesion to different types of aggregates which therefore reduce cracking, deformation etc.
crmb meets the specification of is:15462 of 2004.
advantages of using crmb:Before application of bitumen, bituminous coatings or bituminous compounds to any concrete, masonry, wooden or metal surface, a coat of liquid bituminous primer of low viscosity, which penetrates into the surface is a must.
Bituprimer, manufactured in conform to IS:3384, because of its low vapor contents, easy application, quick drying time, better bonding and low viscosity is an answer to all bituminouspriming needs.
