GENERAL DESCRIPTION

AIREF ENGINEERS offers high quality, finned surface, efficient heat transfer coils for cooling and heating applications in comfort air conditioning, refrigeration, oil coolers and low temperature equipment. The coils, available in Chilled Water (CWC), Hot Water (HWC), Stream and direct Expansion(DX) variants, cater efficiently to all kinds of heat transfer requirements. In addition to the standard sizes, the coils are available in customized sizes and types.

CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES

TUBES	:	Seamless Copper tubes with 3/8” (9.5mm), 1/2” (12.7mm) and 5/8” (15.8mm)O.D.
FINS	:	Aluminium fins punched from automatic fin-punching dies.(Copper fins are optional)

ROWS DEEP	:	2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12
FPI(FINS/IN)	:	3-4 FPI, 6-7 FPI, 9-10 FPI and 12-13 FPI (for different applications)
COIL SIZE	:	(A) Any size as per customers’s requirement. (B) Standard sizes for our standard equipment.
COIL PANELS	:	Made of heavy gauge G.I.Sheet as per requirement.(Al and Cu panels are optional)
HEADERS	:	Coil headers for inlet/outlet of water(CWC, HWC, steam& hot oil coils)are made of M. S. / Cu. Air purging and drain connections are provided.
DISTRIBUTOR	:	Brass distributer and M. S. / Cu headers for DX-coils.
CIRCUITING	:	Full, half , double and special circuits are provided for evaporating coils and condensers.
TESTING	:	All coils are pressure tested with dry air at 24.5kg/sq.cm(350 lbs)under water.

CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES

SHELL	:	Standard ERW pipes / shells rolled from quality steel plates.
TUBES	:	Plain Copper tubes (20 / 21 gauge) are expanded into tubes sheets holes.

TUBE SHEET	:	Steel plants with adequate thickness for strength and proper expansion of tubes.
HEAD	:	Steel fabricated heats are provided with multipass arrangement on refrigerant side.
REFRIGERANT CONNECTIONS	:	Inlet and outlet connections are provided (socket / pipe).
FINISH	:	After proper cleaning Chillers are painted with two coats red-oxide.
PRESSURE TESTING	:	Chillers are tested for 17 kg/sq.cm. Pneumatic on tube side and 17kg/sq.cm. Hydraulic pressure on shell side.

CAPACITIES BASED ON :	1 Ton = 12,000 Btu / Hr. (3,000 k.cal / hr) cooling water from 53F (11.6C) to 45F (7.2C). R-22 @ 35F (17-C) Evap. Temp..
SPECIAL CHILLERS :	For special requirements chillers with Carbon steel tubes, S.S. tubes, Brass tubes can be supplied.
