PVC Water Stops

PVC Water Stops
PVC water stops are for use in concrete joints subjected to hydrostatic pressures. After being embedded in concrete, PVC water stops fill up the joints to form a continuous watertight diaphragm that prevents the passage of fluid. The water stop must be designed and installed properly to accommodate joint expansions, contraction and lateral & transverse movements. In addition to these consideration the water stop must be compatible with the concrete system and the liquids and chemicals to be contained or controlled. We maintain the position of industry leadership by responding to the specific needs of our customer. Installation: Most popular way of the placement of the water stop seal is tied to the steel frame works or small eyelet by means of small wires, certain metal clamps made to grip the water stop seal to keep it in proper position. Construction : An extremely low friction extruded soft and dense packing made from a special grade of PTFE, graphite and high temperature lubricant. Application : This self-lubricating packing has excellent thermal and chemical resistance. It reduces friction to shafts and resists gas permeation. It is used in pumps, valves, stirring equipment and static applications for use with acids, dyes, solvents, adhesives and abrasive media. It is recommended to use rings of Style 62 or Style 71 on both ends.

Construction : A packing with a center of hollow silicon core or solid silicon cord braided around by yarn of style 51, 62, 71, 82 & 83. Application : A specially developed packing for use on rotating equipment having excessive shaft deviation. It also reduces shaft sleeve wear.
