Alumayer has developed building maintenance units (BMU) for the cleaning and maintenance of buildings, as well as temporary suspended platforms (TSP) for the use of operators in the construction, cladding, painting, maintenance and refurbishment of buildings, bridges, chimneys and other structures. Building Maintenance Units (BMU) BMUs are a permanent installation of a specific building or structure, usually consisting of a platform, suspended from a suspension rig such as a trolley unit with hoist, which operates either on rails or on a suitable surface, e.g. concrete track. Monorails with traversing trolleys or other suspension rigs, e.g. davits, fixed to building, from which a platform may be suspended, are parts of a BMU. Temporary Suspended platforms (TSP) TSPs are installed temporarily for specific tasks, and consist of a platform and of a suspension - which are assembled prior to use. They are dismantled and removed and removed and removed from the site on completion of the work.

The advent of the skylight has presented a new era in roofing solutions for commercial centers, private houses, hotels etc. The profile system was developed by Alumayer engineers to facilitate the information of wide spans without metal fortifications. A network of internal channels funnel water condensation to the drainage systems. The installation of both electrically or manually-operated windows is possible.   The utilization of glass covered aluminum profiles, that comply with insulation and lighting specification, enables the planner and contractor to take advantage of an advanced and innovative solution offering diverse possibilities and improved structural appreance. Glass roofs that may be constructed in any shape or form, can also be glazed with insulatin or plasting materials.

Alumayer has accumulated vast experience in the design and installation of the following systems : Suspended assemblies : This system combines specially processed and toughened glass panes, bolted together at the corners by means of small metal patch fittings. Pane-to-pane joints are sealed with a silicone sealant. Toughened glass stabilizers provide each vertical joint with lateral stiffness to counter wind loading.Such assemblies are suspended from the building structure by hangers bolted to the top edge. Planar system : A countersunk bolt fixing system designed to support the weight of the glass. Each pane is anchored separately by means of a weight bearing bolt that is inserted from the bush through a hole in the glass to the superstructure. It can be incorporated into single as well as with double glazed units.
