Ignite Powder also known as Starting Powder is required and is must. Pour little Starting Powder on the Mould followed by the Exothermic Weld powder and again pour it little on the Top Side of Mould. Ignite starting powder with a spark gun.This resulting exothermic reaction reduces the weld powder to molten copper alloy. The molten copper alloy melts the retaining disc and flowsinto the weld cavity where it partially melts the conductors. Ignite Powder of 5 grams is sufficient for this Process.

Single-strand copper wire, also called solid wire or solid-core wire, consists of one piece of copper metal wire surrounded by an insulator. Single-strand copper conductors are typically used as magnet wire in motors and transformers. They are relatively rigid, do not bend easily, and are typically installed in permanent, infrequently handled, and low flex applications.
Single strand copper wires also provide mechanical ruggedness and good protection against the environment. A stranded copper wire refers to a group of copper wires that are braided or twisted together. A stranded copper wire is more flexible and easier to install than a single-strand copper wire of the same cross section. Stranding also improves wire longevity for applications with moderate to high vibration. A particular cross-section of a stranded conductor gives it essentially the same resistance characteristics as a single-strand conductor, but with added flexibility.

Copper Braid Bond Braids made of many copper wires are also sometimes used for flexible electrical connections between large components. The numerous smaller wires comprising the braid are much more resistant to breaking under repeated motion and vibration than is a cable of larger wires.
In electrical and electronic cables, braid is a tubular sheath made of braided strands of metal placed around a central cable for shielding against electromagnetic interference. The braid is grounded while the central conductor or conductors carry the signal.
Flexible electrical connectors solve high-voltage connectivity problems created by vibration from generators and transformers. When used as the initial connector from vibration-producing equipment to a power distribution network, flexible connectors (or flexible braided jumpers) isolate the main electrical grounding bus work from the cause of vibration.
And while flexible braided connectors are more expensive than using copper bus bar, flex braid returns the investment by cutting the potential cost of down time, maintenance and energy loss created by loose electrical connections.
In addition to the positive aspects of flex braid, the most advantageous feature of this versatile connector is evident in its name – flexibility. A cable or cable harness with the same current-carrying ampacity is much stiffer and unwieldy. A cable that will carry 750 amps is fairly easy to work in 20-foot lengths, but bending a shorter piece and routing it around other objects becomes very difficult. In addition to their stiff, unwieldy nature, cables are rigid and transmit vibration.
