Rider is a rugged series of Hand Held Computers with integrated printer. It comes with open source Linux or Android OS and a SDK that helps in rapid deployment of custom applications which can be developed in Java or C. Rider processor options include ARM Cortex A8A9 and Qualcomm Quad Core Snapdragon 200 series.The terminal can be equipped with integrated wireless features like GSM, GPRS, WLAN and 3G4G. The optional features that can be integrated include finger print sensor, contactcontactless card reader, RFID etc. It can be deployed virtually for many applications in the field. Its rugged construction and long battery life enhance its field usability.
