It is from small seeds that grand trees are born. The great visionary vidyasagar vij sowed his in 1980 when he started bakers with a very small capital but boundless enthusiasm. The industry’s soil proved fertile and with careful nurturing the small sapling soon grew into a magnificent edifice. After taking the company to the top with his tireless efforts, dynamism and foresight now he has passed on the baton to his three sons yogesh vij, naresh vij and mukesh vij. With his grandsons also entering the field bakers is all set to expand its roots into far flung areas. Bakers spices and ingredients pvt ltd is now the leader in sales of custard powder with 1.2 lakh packs sold every month. While other products like corn flour and caramel pudding doesn’t lag far behind it is in the new range of masala products that the company sees great potential. As far as distribution and sales is concerned the brand is firmly rooted in all four south states. The company also exports its products to such countries as fiji, mauritius, kuwait and england. The brand is all set to go pan national in the next five years.
