Offering Steel Balls.

The main feature of this ball is the carbonised case with a soft core. This design lends resistance to shock loads and surface wear while providing good load carrying ability. Balls of this type are generally used in applications where there are only moderate loads and slow rotating parts.

Balls made of this material are used for applications requiring extreme hardness and resistance to wear and abrasion, hard shocks and impacts. The applications include special valves, flow meters, re-circulating ball bearing screws, linear bearings and balls for ball-point pens. They are also used often for minting, as pivots and points of comparators. They are also used for measurements or calibration of holes and measurement checking devices.

Here the hardened balls are ground to improve suface finish and geometrical parameters. Several careful grinding processes with ceramic wheels lead to a higher size precision preparing the balls for the next final lapping operation.
