Baycom was founded in 1990 in Taoyuan county and relocated to Hsinchu science park in Hsinchu city, Ttaiwan in 1994. Baycom is a subsidiary company of Tecom, which is a member of Teco group. Starting out as a research firm, Baycom has evolved into a manufacturer of high quality optical communications products, providing a full product line of fiber optical cables, interconnect, transceiver & media converter, active optical components, optical patch cord, and LC connectors. Since our foundation, we have invested significant effort in development of optical products with innovative technologies, leveraging ourselves into an industry leading supplier of fiber optical cables and associate products. Moreover, we have moved one step further by committing to high quality control standards in research development, building a relationship with corning, a world-leading optical fiber manufacturer. In 2000, we were licensed by lucent technology, now known as OFS fitel to manufacture and sale small form factor (sff) connectors as known as LC connector/adapter, that at same year, we received the technical devolution from the industrial technology research institute (ITRI), making Baycom the first manufacturing firm capable of supplying both active and passive optical components. Our products range includes indoor & outdoor duct optical cables, tight buffered cables, optical patch cord assemblies, and transceivers. Clients worldwide have utilized our products with great satisfaction. Today, Baycom continues research and product development in the optic communications field.
