  • Head stock gears are of special alloy case hardening steel and are duly hardened and profile grounded.
  • Head stock spindle is ground and runs in one anti friction taper roller bearings and one needle roller bearings ( 32222 & N 222 ) in front wall of head stock and one taper roller bearing ( 32220 ) in rear side wall of head stock.
  • Head stock , universal Norton gear box and apron gear box are oil bath and gears are splash lubricated.
  • Universal Norton gear box provides for wide range of British and Metric threads
  • Accuracy tested as per IS : 1878 ( part – 1 ) 1971
  • Lead screw , starting shafts are different.
  • Control panel for on / off the machine , reverse / off / forward start handle is given along with apron gear box for easy control.
