Usage :

Signs and Symptoms :

• Numbness of uppe rand lower limb, loss of appetite, fever, nausea, vomiting, general fatigue, feeling of heaviness in the abdomen, slight head-ache, Stomach pain, Yellow discolouration of urine and eye are the main symptoms of Jaundice.
• But in chronic and severe Jaundice, along with these, Yellow colour and itching all over the body also will be present.
• The normal function of liver is badly affected in this disease. The urine of patient will be in the colour of black tea. All the signs and symptoms of Jaundice mentioned above may not be seen in all patients.
• The symptoms may vary according to the severity of the disease. In this condition, the patient must take another dose of Hepatosin Powder on the Seventh day after first dose. This medicine is not having any side effects.

How to use medicine :

• Mix 8 gms of Hepatosin Powder with pure honey. Do not use much quantity of honey (Use honey just to moisten the powder).
• This medicine also can be used along with banana (Cut one banana and touch and pick up the medicine). Take teh medicine at 7 a.m. in empty stomach (without taking any food).

Restrictions :

• After taking the medicine, if the patient feel appetite, he can consume one or two banana, or boiled and dried rice without salt at 2 p.m after 7 p.m. If necessary, the patient can drink three or four ounces of milk diluted with water.
• If possible, avoid food to enhance the action of medicine in the body. If more quantity of fluids is used, the medicine may be vomited.
• Take special care not to vomit on the day on which the medicine is used. If the patient feels headache and heat over the head, apply the paste of sandalwood or ice-pad over the forehead. On the second day, after taking the medicine, the urine will be in more yellow colour.
• From third day onwards, cow's milk diuluted with water and boiled with barley should be drunk several times. Tender coconut water with glucose also can be used. (Deabetic patients must avoid glucose and coconut water).
• The patient is advised to take four or five litres of water daily. More water intake is well appreciated. Always take care to use one type of water, either pipe water or water from the well.
• If the water is changed that will cause vomiting due to acidity. Also avoid other fruits like apple, grapes, orange etc., as sometimes these fruits may couse diarrhoea.
• From the second day onwards the patient can take his regular food like Dosai, Iddly, Rice, Gruge (Kanji), Chappathy etc., but he must avoid Fish, Meat, Ghee, Animal fat, Fried foods etc., Always use less salt. After five or six days, when theurine become white, the patient can use vegetables and can add low quantity of salt in the food.
• Gradually, the yellow colour of the urine and eyes will completely disappear along with other symptoms.
• After fifteen days all types of food can be consumen. If here is not temperature, on the second day itself the patient can take bath using water over the head liberaly.
• On head and body, and take bath three or four days continously. If fever is present, never take bath. Obey these instructions strictly while taking medicine to enhance the process of recovery

Dosage : Hepatosin can be used without any disease, to prevent the attack of Jaundice and to ensure the normal functions of liver.

• For adult above 12 years -8 gms
• Below 12 to 6 years -6 gms
• Below 6 to 3 years -4 gms
• Below 3 to 2 years -2 gms
• Below 2 years (Breast feeding child) - 1-3/4 - ½ gms

To breast feeding child, the medicine can be given in the breast milk or honey. Slight changes in medicine dose, will not do any harm to the patient.
