Located in the city of Araucaria - Parana, the seat of IMCOPA has more than 300 employees distributed in several areas, for crushing and manufacturing of soy products. Its industrial park is one of the most complete in the industry, acting from receipt, storage and soybean crushing, to the production of lecithin, production and packaging of refined oil and manufacturing bran protein concentrate (SPC) and alcohol. The reception and storage sector has the capacity to receive daily about 3000 tons of soybeans. In addition to the genetic purity testing, IMCOPA controls humidity levels, impurity and grain variation, among others, as part of its quality system. The Araucaria unit has a crushing capacity of more than 2400 tonnes per day. Using the separation system of soybean hulls, the industrial plant also ensure the provision of a special meal, hipro meal with high protein content - around 48%. The extraction of oil and meal is almost entirely made by an automated process, allowing better production yield and, above all, safety. The crude soybean oil produced in Araucaria is used in the manufacture of soybean lecithin, and the bran is stored for export. The refinery area IMCOPA can process tons of degummed oil per day, one of the largest plants in installed capacity in Brazil.
