The element is a valve which ejects out metered amount of oil to lubrication point. It is a sort of mini cylinder with a special check valve where stroke of piston determines the dosage of oil. The complete design of metering cartridge does not allow it to leak at low as well as at high pressure of oil. The ejected oil will not return back to the cartridge due to in-built check valve. The metering cartridges are supplied along with copper seal ring (washer).

This is mini hydraulic power pack fitted with a motor and rotary positive displacement pump. The unit is designed for intermittent run only and is best suited for Single Shot Lubrication. Unit is fitted with a suitable pressure switch, float switch and a transparent reservoir (for visually checking the oil level). During ON cycle, the electrically driven pump discharges the oil with high pressure, adjustable between 25-28 bars, with the help of an in-built relief valve, which is also safeguarding the system from over–loading and the pressure can be read on the Pressure Gauge fitted on the unit. During OFF cycle the pressure in the lubrication line is reduced to 1 kgsq.cm. and so on. The system is also provided with a Bleed Valve near the outlet port to automatically bleed air if entrained in system. For vertical mounting of the unit, two holes are provided at the back of the system. There is an inbuilt check valve and pressure reducing system incorporated in the pump. Outlet port is suitable for 6mm OD tube.

This is a compact pumping station. A motor of 220V, 50Hz, 40W is operated, giving continuous NLG-III greasing at the outlet of the pump. The reservoir is built-in with the pump. Pump can develop pressure of 100 kgcm2. The discharge is of the order of 60 gmminute. This pump is suitable for, single line progressive greasing system grease dispensing system for auto components. Normally this system runs periodically or run as per machine requirements.

Pump is pneumatically operated i.e. through pneumatic line, connected to the ports of cylinder. The cylinder is built in with the pump. During ON period of the pneumatic line, piston inside the cylinder is pushed, ejecting out pressurized grease from the outlet port of the pump body. During reverse flow of pneumatic line, grease is sucked through the suction port in the pump. Spring force through follower plate exerted on the top surface of the grease (filled in the reservoir) makes the suction of the grease positive and easier. The grease thus filled in cylinder is ready for ejection. Pump is mounted on machine frame.

Oil Circulatory System (OCS) Lube Oil System (LOS) - In this type of system, the oil is continuously supplied to various moving parts and bearings. The oil not only acts as a lubricant, but also as a coolant by consuming the heat generated in the bearingsmoving parts. The oil after lubrication is returned to the reservoir. These systems are large, employing reservoirs of capacities ranging from a few hundreds of liters to thousands of liters. The pumps are of heavy duty, intended for continuous running, with flow rate ranging from few tens of LPM to few thousands of LPM. These systems are widely used for plants like Cement, Sugar, Paper, Power generation, Steel as well as for heavy duty machineries. Generally, there are a number of points to be lubricated in any of the above mentioned plants. These lubrication points being various gear boxers, bearings, gears, etc. Depending upon the density of these points in a particular area, a common OCS is taken which feeds all these points. The return lines from each of these points are fed back to the reservoir of OCS. The OCS is generally placed in a basement and returning oil runs under the force of gravity by itself. All return lines have a slant towards the OCS so that returning oil doesn't give any back pressure to the oil in the delivery lines. Depending on the complexity of the system and the fund availability, the pressure and flow in each line can be governed through a set of control valves.
