In 1963 in collaboration with Algemene Kuntzidjeune NV of Holland and Glanzstoff of Germany, the Company installed the Tyre Cord plant in its premises which was subsequently later expanded. The Plant today has a capacity of 18 tons day of Rayon Tyre Yarn in deniers ranging from 1100 to 3300 den. Yarn produced is either pre twisted (60 tpm) or Zero Twist depending on the Customer requirements.
