Tracking systems that adjust the position of PV modules to follow the sun can boost yields from solar installations by 40% or more. Two basic configurations for tracker systems are available. Single-axis trackers rotate about one axis, azimuthally orienting the panels to track the sun’s movements over the course of a day. Dual-axis trackers provide both azimuth rotation for daily tracking and tilt rotation for sea-sonal tracking the movement of the sun. Century Ventures offers standard single and dual axis tracking products for commercial applications (kW scale). These trackers are mounted on a galvanized steel pole struc-ture and use PLC driven linear actuatorsworm gears to orient the PV panels and track the sun. The trackers have built in wind protection to protect the panels if the wind speeds are too high. The trackers can accommodate solar PV modules upto 25 sq. m. Century Ventures is offering solar mounts for your solar PV projects. Mounts are offered for fixed and ground mounted installations, pitch roof installations, and pole mounted installations. Mounts are manufactured out of anodized aluminium and stainless steel, and designed to withstand wind loads of 200 kmph. Tilt angles may be varied from 9 to 25 degrees most cases in Tamil Nadu.

Century Ventures offers combiner boxes that provide interconnection between the input leads from the solar PV modules, and the output lead going from the combiner box to the charge controller. The combiner box is customized for different configurations, based on the number of strings of solar PV modules used in the layout. For a set of 10 PV modules arranged two in series and five in parallel, a 5:1 configuration combiner box is selected. The combiner boxes provide fuse and surge protection in case of lightning attacks.
