CIDESCO (Make-up) Duration: 275 hours This course provides an International Diploma in Make-up, which is recognized by Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie [CIDESCO], Switzerland. This certification gives a student international recognition as a Make-up artist. The course includes: 1. Basic Make-up 2. Advance Make-up 3. Professional High Definition Portfolio 4. This course provides an international diploma which is recognized by the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC), UK. The curriculum comprises of high-end and complex facial treatment methods. During training, students are shown how to devise treatment plans for all skin types. Using high frequency, galvanic, vacuum suction and micro-current electrical treatments, dramatic effects can be achieved on all skin types.

Basic Make-up Course Duration: 60 hours Theory: The course provides thorough technical and analytical knowledge regarding the face and its shapes and skin tone. It also includes the history of Make-up, Color Theory, along with product knowledge, technical skill and client consultation. Practical: The practical curriculum includes importance of Work Station Setup, Face-features, Corrective Techniques including concealing, contouring and highlighting. Advance Make-up Course Duration: 90 hours Theory: The course covers Camouflage Make-up, Film Make-up, Television Make-up and Lighting Techniques. The Academy also organizes a photo shoot for all students to start a portfolio. Practical: The practical sessions include Nude Make-up, Make-up for brides (western, traditional and reception), Designing for Editorials/ Prints, Glamour Make-up that includes neutral and color glamour, black and white photography and bronze Make-up. The course also covers Make-up techniques for male-models.

Duration: 255 hours This course curriculum comprises of Basic Make-up, Advance Make-up and Hair Styling. Hair Cutting Duration: 120 hours Theory: The training includes the Study of Structure and Composition of Hair, Hair Analysis, Growth Cycles and Growth Patterns, Shampooing and Conditioning, Usage of Brushes and Combs, Styling Products, Basic Principles of Hair Cutting, choosing the right hair style for a particular face shape, fringes, texturizing techniques using scissors, razors and texturing shears. Practical: Classic Haircuts – One length, 45 degree haircuts, 180 degree haircut, 90 degree haircut etc. Advance Cuts: Classic Bob – shoulder length, Natural Inversion, Forward Graduation, Square Layers, Layered Cut using razor, Graduated Bob, Quick Cuts – Brick, Wispy, Piggyback. Men’s Cuts: Scissors over comb, Use of clipper and its attachments, Neckline shaping. Hair Coloring Duration: 120 hours Theory: The curriculum includes Study of Structure and Composition of Hair, Hair Growth Cycles and Growth Patterns, Hair Analysis, Shampooing and Conditioning, Color Wheel, the Level System, Identifying Underlying Pigments, Types of Hair Color and Hydrogen Peroxides, Functions of Pre-lighteners. Practical: The course includes Client Consultation, Color Application on Virgin Hair, Color Application on Colored Hair, Global Color Application, Highlighting Techniques, and Color Retouch Techniques.

Chemical Treatments Duration: 90 hours Theory: The curriculum comprises of the Study of Structure and Composition of Hair, Hair Growth Cycles and Growth Patterns, Hair Analysis, Shampooing and Conditioning, Chemical Composition of Perm Lotions and Straightening Creams. Practical: This session will cover Client Consultation, Perm Wrapping Techniques, Relaxing and Rebonding Techniques. Hair Styling Duration: 105 hours Theory: This training covers the usage of different shampoo and conditioners, types of brushes and combs. Practical: This session provides training on 25 up-dos, head massage, blow drying techniques, temporary ironing of hair, use of curling tongs, finger waving, pin curls, use of hot rollers, scrunching hair using a diffuser, French braid, Italian braid, and styling hair for various occasions, suitable for different face shapes.

Basic Skin Esthetics Duration: 165 hours Theory: The course covers the History of Skincare, Bacteriology, Study of Anatomy and Physiology of the Human Body, History and Physiology of Skin, Skin Analysis, Skin Disorders and Diseases. Practical: The practical sessions comprise detailed client consultation, basic facials without the aid of currents, hand massage, back massage, threading and waxing. Advance Skin Esthetics Duration: 165 hours Theory: The course includes Study of Electricity and Machines used during facials, Currents used in Esthetics – high frequency, galvanic, vacuum suction and ultra sound, Basic Chemistry, Cosmetic Chemistry, Products Components and Ingredients Study, Business Practice and Job Skills, Introduction to Advance Esthetics. Practical: The practical curriculum covers Acne Treatment, Skin Brightening, Dark Spot Treatment, Eye Contour Treatment, Organic Facials using fruits and vegetables, Hair Capillary Treatment for Alopecia, Paraffin Facial for Dehydrated Skin, Back Polish Treatment and Specialized Eye Treatments. Paramedical Esthetics Duration: 165 hours Theory and Practical topics include: Microdermabrasion AHA Peels-Lactic and Glycolic Non-Surgical Face lifts using micro currents.

Spa Course Duration: 90 hours Theory and practical topics include: Swedish Body Massage Stone Therapy – hot stone and cold stone Full Body Massage Indian Head Massage Body Scrubs and Packs Body Salt Glow Treatment Hand Glow Treatment Body Wraps for Cellulite Electric Spa Massage – micro currents relaxation Aromatherapy Course Duration: 60 hours Theory: The training topics include History of Aromatherapy, Extraction Method i.e., Steam Distillation, Chemistry of Essentials Oils, Therapeutic Properties of Essential Oils, Chemistry for Carrier Oils, Synergy Blends, Therapeutic Properties Index of Essential Oils. Practical: Practical sessions cover detailed client consultation, hands-on proficiency in full body massage using aroma oil. Career options: Being trained in body treatment is a first step to become a spa therapist or masseur. Scope of employment for therapists are in a spa, beauty salon or clinic, slimming centres, personal care services. Students can also set up their own business.

Practical: Practical sessions give knowledge about Basic Manicure and Pedicure, French Manicure, Paraffin Manicure and Pedicure, Salicylic Acid Pedicure, Aroma Manicure and Pedicure, Foot Exfoliating Treatment and Manicure/Pedicure for men. Nail Art and Extension Course Duration: 60 hours Theory: The topics covered are Structure of Nails, Nail Disorder, Nail Shapes and Nail Polish Application, Nail Extension – gel and acrylic, Removal of Nail Polish and Nail Jewellery. Practical: It includes Acrylic Nail Extension, Tip Application, Gel Nails, Nail Art (painting and decorating nails), Gel Nail Polish, Removing and Applying Nail Polish, Nail Jewellery (piercing and artificial).
