CHW Forge manufactures Aluminium alloy rings upto a diameter of 2500mm and a maximum of 1000kg in various grades. Aluminium rings can be supplied in solution heat treatment, stress relieved & aged condition. These rings find application in aerospace & defence such as missile launch vehicles, aircrafts, supplementary tankcombat tank and so on.

Standard flanges (weld-neck, slip-on, socket-weld, lap-joint, blind and screwed types) are manufactured by chw forge to specifications of asme b16.5, asme b16.47, asme b16.48, bs en 1092, bs 4504, api-605, api-590, msssp44, din 2632 to 2638, din 2576, 2642, 2527, 2566. Flanges cover full range of pressure ratings of these specifications (150 – 2500 psi for asme & pn6-pn400 for din en flanges). Non-standard flanges are made upto a diameter of 4500 mm and the weight not exceeding 5, 000 kgs.

CHW Forge manufactures various types of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and duplex steel flanges as per customer recognised material standard (ASMEANSIDIN). The flanges are also manufactured as per customer specific requirementsdrawings.

Application: These are mainly used on heat coupling of pipes in the most difficult cases, i.e., where bending stress on the coupling, due to expansion of section or due to other forces, is foreseen.

Application: These are used in quick assembly to save the cost and also in less strict requirements in terms of length of pipe section.

Application: These are recommended for orifice flanges and work as substitute for slip-on flanges in cases where the diameter of the tube is very small and working pressure is very high.

Application: These are primarily used when quick assembly and disassembly of pipe section is required under limited working pressure.

Application: These flanges are used in special environment to work under high temperature and pressure, making sure no welding joint is made at the assembly.

Chw forge manufactures tower flanges in rolled, proof machined and fully machined condition as per customer’s requirements and specifications. Chw forge is well equipped with state of the art ring rolling, heat treatment, machining and testing facilities. A tower for a wind mill comprises of number of tapered cylindrical sections which are subdivided in two or more elongated shell segments. Tower flanges are used for combining two shell segments by tightening together through bolts.

Precision steel rolled rings are manufactured at chw forge to closed tolerances which promotes minimum wastage of material and energy. The seamless rolled ring forging is produced on an automatic 4000 mt hydraulic press to form a hollow “donut”. This donut is heated above the recrystallization temperature and placed over the idler or mandrel roll. This idler roll then moves under pressure towards a drive roll that continuously rotates to reduce the wall thickness, thereby increasing the diameters (i.d. And o.d.) of the resulting ring.

Chw forge produces large diameter bearing rings for a broad spectrum of applications. The rings for slew bearings are manufactured in a wide range of sizes from external diameters of 500 mm to 4500 mm. The rings for slew bearings can support axial and radial movement loads simultaneously. The roller can be balls of cylindrical rollers. This type of bearing is used with slewing units of construction equipment such as power shovels and track cranes, loader and carrier equipments such as deck cranes, machine tools and parabolic antennas.

CHW Forge has the expertise to deliver seamless rings in Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel to be used as Gear Blanks in Forged or proof machined condition with manufacturing capability as mentioned below. CHW Forge manufactures a wide range of blinds conforming to carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. Blinds are normally used to stop one end of a flange pipe, a valve orifice or the opening of a pressure vessel. The steel blinds can be custom designed to meet the specific requirements of the customers as per capability mentioned below.

The tube sheets are used in manufacturing of heat exchangers and pressure vessels to secure the tube bundle inside the pressure vessel or the heat exchanger. The tube sheets can be supplied in fully machined and drilled condition. The tube sheets are manufactured as per customer’s requirements.
