Hunan Ningxiang Jiweixin Metal Powder Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jiweixin”) is a hi-tech enterprise professionally engaged in the production of fine spherical aluminum powder which was founded in 1997. In December, 2009, Jiweixin was fully purchased by Toyo Aluminum K.K, and it became one of subsidiaries of Toyo Aluminum Group. It was located in Ningxiang County Economic and Technological Development Zone, Changsha city with very convenient transportation. Jiweixin brought in the production technology of nitrogen atomized fine spherical aluminum powder in 1997, a high-tech achievement developed by Institute of Mechanics (IMECH), Chinese Academy of Sciences. From then on, Jiweixin constantly engaged in the technical reconstruction and innovation. Finally, Jiweixin has researched and developed new production technology of fine spherical aluminum powder on the basis of original production technology independently, which keeps up with the advanced international level currently proved by practice. Jiweixin mainly produce all kinds of aluminum powder with medium diameter D50 within 1-45 micron. The products are widely used in many industries such as high-grade metal pigment, conductive paste, refractory material, chemical catalyst, pesticide, aluminum alloy powder, solid rocket propellant, fireworks, anticorrosion paint for metal, etc. Jiweixin can produce 4,000 tons fine spherical powder per year currently, and it will increase the production capacity of 8,000 tons/year in July, 2011.
