This part is a pivot housing for DC motor on wiper system, the difficulty of this part is the structure of the long threaded pillar, the length is more than 65 mm, as the base of the pivot housing is big and thick, so the injection gate should be located on the base, then it means the top of the pillar will be the end on the mold, which will cause problem of incomplete filling, even defect of short casting. Aluminum Die Casting Shaft Housing,  This part is a pivot housing for assembling the shaft, which is used on DC motor on wiper system, the part is very similar to pivot housing 421-1034,  the difficulty of this part is the feature of the long threaded pillar, it is even longer than 421-1034,  the length is up to 115 mm, the injection gate can still only be set at the base of the product, so the die casting work of this part is more difficult than that one as this part also require machining the pillar to have thread and surface specification of electrophresis coating. without good design on the injection system, the runner flow system, the venting system, the part will be easy to have problem of incomplete filling, defect like shrinkage porosity, short casting etc. Then lead to the exposed porosity on the surface after machining, and pits or bubbles on the whole pillar surface as e-coating What's more, the part require surface finish of electrophoresis coating, for technology of e-coating technology has a process of curing at high temperature of 170-200 degree like powder coating. In this situation, to run a mold flow analysis on the CAD model of tooling designed prior to the built of mold is necessary and important. Of course, after the design is completed, before the mold flow simulation, we should submitt the CAD model to the customer for confirmation firstly, as we may be not clear how the part is used, whether the design will.

Double Shaft Pivot Housing,  the part is also a kind of pivot housing on windscreen wiper system, which is applied to bigger buses, boat etc. The part is similar to the pivot housing 421-1034 but have two long pins, this pivot side housing have two long threaded pillars, from these two pillars, there to be two shaft assembled. The difficulty of this part is that the structure of the two long threaded pillars, the length is about 65 mm, the key point is to locate the injection gate the runner, the overflow, the cooling system in proper position. Usually, for experienced die casting manufacturer, we will run with solidification analysis to simulate the status of the filling of the melting aluminum, making the final decision on these points. Otherwise, probably the part will have risk of porosity, if so, while machining, there will be big porosity exposed from the thread surfaces, what's worse, while e-coating, during the curing process under 170-200 degree, the porosity will try to expand to get out, leading to pits and bubbles on the part surface, which is serious appearance defects unacceptable. Threaded Pivot Housing of Aluminum,  the part is also a kind of pivot housing on windscreen wiper system, which is applied to bigger buses, boat etc. The part looks almost the same to the part number 421-1040 except the length of the two threaded pillar. It is almost 50 mm longer than pivot 421-1040. The most important point to ensure the quality control for this part is the two long pillars, which is decided by the mold design of the location for pouring gate, slag strap, overflow, runner etc. Correct layout of these locations on the mold is the basis to make the part dense enough. This part is big, to ensure the density, the choice for the die casting machine tonnage is 400T. For this part, the pillars is for assembling the shafts from the bore holes. so on both top step holes and bottom step holes, there is one needle bearing each to be pressed in. Aluminum Die Casting Arm Channel,  the part is a bracket for passing and fixing the wire of the windscreen wiper, the standard carried for the die casting work of this part is GBT6414-CT4, this part has a lot of hollow-out structure, which need not only one slide to form. This part has a cylinder structure of φ15.7 mm, at the top of this structure,  which is the far end on the injection system, so this structure is easier to have internal porosity because of misrun, what's more, the part request e-coating surface specification, if the part has void or porosity inside, the E-Coating technology have high temperature curing process after water cleaning, because of the thermal expansion the inside air in the casting will expand to the part surface, in the procedure, the air will lead to pinholes or pits which is unacceptable according to cosmetic criterion. Aluminum Die Casting Mounting Bracket,  this part carried die casting standard of Grade GB-CT4, the part has small wall thickness, meanwhile, the part have structure of big cavity, which usually easily cause problem of mold sticking, pull mark etc. The small wall thickness means the part probably happen to deform during production, which will cause actual application issue. What's more, the part surface area is big, but the thickness is small, in this situation, the far end from the location of injection, the melting aluminum will have risk of solid earlier than expected, it will cause short casting at the far end of the part, then while the part is cooled to indoor temperature, the part will have shrinkage porosity inside.  The part has requirement of surface finish of E-Coating, which has process of curing in hot thermal oven, the temperature usually be up to 170-200 degree, the porosity mentioned above will expand and get out from the part, result in pits and bubbles on the coating.  So in the inspection work instruction, there is request that the  QC inspector should fracture the part with hammer, then check the section particle with magnifying lens to see if there is problem of porosity on the section. Aluminum Die Casting Mount Bracket of Swing Arm,  it is a part used on wiper system, the manufacturing technology is High Pressure Die Casting, a kind of cold chamber aluminum die casting, the material for this part is ADC-12,  a Japanese standard aluminum. this material is supposed to conform to standard of JIS H 5302-2000, it is a very common material in high pressure die casting industry. The Aluminum Die Casting Base Housing,  it is an customized auto part, it is produced by high pressure die casting process, the part is required to be as cast, so during the part development, the engineer should review the drawings very carefully to look into if all the required dimensions and tolerance are within our capability, The part is not difficult to produce, the wall thickness is uniform and continuous. The only thing out of the initial expectation is that the small flash around the ejector pins. So at last, through technical discussion between the engineers of the tooling vendor and our company, they propose the idea of moving the location, changing from the bottom surface to the wall edge.

The Aluminum Die Casting Backbone ,  it is an customized auto part, it is produced by high pressure die casting process, the part is small, the part weight is only about 35 gram, but the length of the part is about 15 cm. what's more, on one end, the part has a feature of cavity, leading to the only option to be realized by secondary slide. in this case, the injection gate can only be on the other end in terms of the geometry. Aluminum Die Casting Heat Return Bracket,  it is an auto part, it is produced from High Pressure Die Casting technology, the implemented die casting standard is Grade GB-CT4, according to the print, there are a few thread holes on the part, without blind hole, after machining, porosity will be easily exposed to the air, even worse, if the size of the porosity is too big, the thread will happen to be broken after machining, leading to failure of actual assembly. Zinc Alloy Awning Mount of Motor Side,  it is an customized part applied to motor homes, the technology for this part is high pressure die casting, the accuracy of specified dimensions and tolerance on the print is not high, the carried criterion for die casting is GBT6414-CT7, the average wall thickness of this part is 2-3mm, it is small, but as the material is zinc alloy, it is feasible for die casting process. However, the main feature of the part is the deep, big cavity, what's more, usually the allowed draft for zinc die casting will be small, in this case, the enclosed strength to the moving die generated will be very large, leading to potential risk of mold release.
