Therefore, the best practicable defense consistent with economy and local conditions should be provided for structures depending upon their importance to encounter these dangerous phenomena.

Successful operation of any lightning protective system depends on certain fundamental conditions, application of components made strictly in agreement with the metal specifications and purity and installation of the entire scheme conforming to requirement laid down in the relevant code of practice applicable to the particular type of structure to be protected. The Switchboards are fabricated out of cold rolled cold annealed ( CRCA) sheet steel. The front and rear doors are duly gasketed for withstand of the required Ingress Protection. ( IP)

The boards are of modular design with the frame structure of folded sheet rigidly bolted together. The Bus Bars are of high conductivity aluminium alloy (Grade E91E as per IS:5082) of adequate cross section to ensure low temperature rise.Busbars with EC grade Copper sections suitable for operating at higher ambient / lowoperating temperatures can also be offered against specific requirements.
