The DCS60 anti-collision system, designed as a universal system, can be fitted to all types of cranes static or travelling, relay or PLC controlled, with saddle or luffing jib to manage in 3D interferences between up to 125 machines, tower cranes andor mobile cranes, on the same site.Construction sites are often bounded by public areas such as highways, railway tracks and schools, or specific hazards such as overhead power lines. The DCS60 integrates a zone protection function, which prevents the load carried by the crane from over-sailing these critical areas. The system can draw zones with different geometries (polygons, lines, cones or circles), allowing cranes to work with minimum restrictions. These so called prohibited zones are set up when installing the systems and can be changes at any time when required.
