Complete inspection plant for pre-filled syringes comprising sybermat denester and two duplex brevetti atm 15d inspection machines. Tubs of nested syringes arriving from the filling line are denested by a robotic arm with suction cups into denesting combs. The syringes are then dispensed from the combs into either of two inspection machines. The empty nests and tubs are discharged from the machine for re-use. Year 2002 for inspection there are two duplex brevetti atm15d machines, each module handling up to 133 syringes per minute (total 4 modules 532 syringes per minute). Each module is equipped with 6 control stations for presence of bung, reflective particles, fill height and bung position, needle cover, non-reflective particles, plus turbidity meter. Years 2007 and 2008 the inspected syringes are discharged in two lanes for further processing.
