about project- for the sustainable livelihood generation of rural women artisans of Barmer Rajasthan, JSW barmer has undertaken several inititatives. ACCESS Development services has been roped in as a partner to undertake a program on developing the handicraft skills (especially applique work) of the women in the project village and enhance their earnings by developing skills of women artisans by infusing new design and integrating them with larger markets. the name of the project DESERT PASTORALE. desert pastorale is registered as a producer company, owned by the women artisans of the project villages. the producer company serves as a tool for transforming women artisans into entrepreneurs.
