We sell CTC tea in bulk form, packed in jute boeing / jute laminated bags or tea chests. Our bulk tea is primarily marketed by way of public auction system, private sales and direct sales.

Our bulk tea is available in packages of 26 kgs and 35 kgs contained in jute boeing, jute laminated bags and wooden chests and is sold all over the country.

Our tea is packed fresh and symbolizes high quality. It is most popular in Haryana, especially Primary grades like BP and BOPSM. Our tea has also developed a niche market in Rajasthan for its ‘Fanning grades’ such as OF, PD and small quantities of BOPSM. Following Haryana and Rajasthan, our primary grade tea has captured good market share in Madhya Pradesh and Punjab.

Apart from North and North Western regions of India, our tea is increasingly popular in areas of West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra.

Diana Tea Company is constantly seeking expansion by targeting newer regional markets such as Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, where it is gaining momentum in terms of greater popularity and increasing sales.

Diana Tea Company Limited (DTCL) is a century old company, registered in the year 1911. The company was run by Nawab Gulam Jabbar & Family till 1976. DTCL was engaged in cultivation and manufacture of tea from its only one garden i.e. Diana Tea Estate. Aares Group took over Diana Tea Estate in the year 1976 and elevated its production from a meagre 2.5 lakh kgs. per annum to a staggering capacity of 10 lakh kgs. per annum.
The then AARES group Chairman, Late Shri Radheshyam Singhania, was a visionary tea lover. He was determined to make this loss making garden into one of the best gardens in that region and he diligently focused on field development and up-gradation of field practices, to make the tea estate as one of the best gardens in Dooars region of West Bengal in respect of quality, quantity and best maintained garden. Presently the total annual production of Diana Tea Estate stands at around 10 Lakh kgs.
During the year 2010 Diana won the prestigious award for manufacturing quality C.T.C tea contacted by CII and Diana Tea Garden was selected as the "queen of Dooars" amongst more than 150 tea gardens of Dooars and Terai.
In the year 1994 the management of the Company decided to share ts success with public and accordingly made an initial public issue of its equity shares at a premium of Rs. 55/- per share which was oversubscribed 2.5 times and listed in four major stock exchanges of the country namely Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Ahmedabad.
Aares Group added more feathers on its caps by acquiring Baintgoorie Tea Estate in the year 1983 from Duncans Agro Industries Ltd. and Goodhope Tea Estate from Bazaloni Group (B.C. Jindal) in the year 1997. DTCL now produces 3.54 million kgs black tea annually from its three estates - i.e. Diana, Baintgoorie and Goodhope Tea Estates.
The Company intends to grow in the plantation business through consolidation and modernization of its existing tea plantation by enabling it to reach to the highest level of economic viability. The Company also intends to go for the expansion of its plantation business inorganically by acquisition of other tea estates domestically or internationally. The Company also wants to en-cash its goodwill and brand by launching various value added products in the Indian market. The ultimate goal of the company is to become an "one stop shop for anything related to tea".
Mr. Sandeep Singhania (42 years)

Mr. Singhania is an alumni of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and completed his graduation in Commerce. He is associated with the Company for more than 22 years. During these years, he has gathered considerable knowledge and thorough experience in all aspects of the tea plantation and marketing business. He is an active member of West Bengal Regional Committee of ITA for quite some time. He anchors policy, strategy planning and execution. He leads the management team in the achievement of targeted goals year after year.
Mrs. Sarita Singhania (51 years)
Wholetime Director designated as Sales & Marketing
Mrs. Singhania is an arts graduate from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, and is associated with the Company since 1996. She has wide experience in tea industry and now she looks after day to day business operation of the company.
Mr. Harish Parekh (77 years)
Non-Executive Independent Director
Inducted in the Board on 14th July, 2005. Mr. Parekh has over 50 years of experience in tea industry. He retired as Chairman of world's largest tea broking Company i.e. M/s. J. Thomas & Co. Pvt. Ltd. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Project India Blend Ltd., He is currently serving as Marketing Advisor and Quality Consultant to some of the top tea producing companies. He is on the Board of several reputed tea companies.
Mr. N. F. Tankariwala (76 years)
Non-Executive Independent Director
Mr. Tankariwala is a B.A. Eco. (Hons.) graduate is on Board since 30th March, 2010. He was also the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of The Moran Tea Company (India) Ltd. for 20 years and has around 50 years experience in tea industry. He has been the Chairman of TRA (Tea Research Association) from 2005 to 2007 and was a member of the National Committee of the Indian Tea Association for a period of 18 years. He has also been a member of the General Committee of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce. He serves as a Director of many other reputed companies. He was the head of Norwegian Consulate in Kolkata and has been a Member of the West Bengal Minorities’ Commission for the past 11 years.
Mr. Gautam Bhalla (67 years)

Mr. Gautam Bhalla is on Board since 27th February, 2015. After his graduation from St. Stephens College, Delhi in Economics (Hons) he started his career with Procter & Gamble Ltd. He was also worked with Duncans Brothers and Warren Tea Ltd. in various capacities. He was the Chairman of CTTA in the year 1996-98. He was in charge of Pakistan Desk in ITA. He is also advisor of various tea companies and has in depth knowledge of all major bulk tea markets n India.

Sudershan Kumar Babal, an Honours Graduate in Humanities and a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial relation is the Superintending Manager of the Company’s Diana Tea Estate since November, 2004. He has 36 years experience in tea plantation. During his tenure at Diana Tea Estate he won the prestigious award for manufacturing quality C.T.C. tea conducted by CII in the year 2010 and Diana Tea Garden was selected as the “Queen of Dooars” amongst more than 150 tea gardens of Dooars and Terai.
Raghuvendra Bahadur Singh, graduated from Kashi Vidya Peeth, Varanasi, UP joined the Company in the year 2013 and serving as the Manager of Company’s Baintgoorie Tea Estate. He has got more than 24 years experience in tea industry. Before joining Baintgoorie he was working with Bagracote Tea Garden of Duncans Agro Industries Ltd. for 8 years.
Sunil Oswald Saunders, a B.Com. Graduate from University of Allahabad is the Manager of Company’s Goodhope Tea Estate since 2011. He has 28 years experience in tea plantation. Previously, he served in Duncans Agro Industries Ltd.
