Features
There is no doubt about good continuous power availability in our country but the stringent requirements of the sophisticated equipments being used today underlines the necessity of clean power. The present AC power lines are superimposed with dangerous Spikes, Surges, Transients, Sags RFI noise and Harmonics. The high frequency noise can easily interfere with digital and electronic equipments causing data corruption, erratic behaviors and loss of memories. These line noises cause stress on semi conductor components and machine system experiences catastrophic & software failures, extensive damage to PLC's and storage media, leading to heavy loss of production, data and man-hours.
Isolation Transformers eliminate such noises and attenuates the spikes to minimal values, providing complete protection against such electrical disturbances. It consists of double wound Transformers with extremely low coupling capacitance to isolate the voltage spikes and reduce noise from mains with extremely high insulation resistance. They are most effective for medical equipment because of its characteristic of providing complete isolation from main lines. It is available on KVA rating from 3 KVA to 500 KVA in three phase and 1 KVA to 50 KVA in single phase.

TThe CVT uses the unique principle of ferroresonance: operation of a transformer in the region of magnetic saturation. When the iron core of a transformer is in saturation, relatively large changes in winding current results in very small changes in magnetic flux. Winding current and magnetic flux are proportional to the input and output voltage, respectively. This means that relatively large changes in input voltage result in small changes in output voltage: this being the fundamental purpose of an automatic voltage regulator.
The ferroresonant action is a flux limiter rather than a voltage regulator, but with a fixed supply frequency it can maintain an almost constant average output voltage even as the input voltage varies widely. It is seen that In spite of best efforts by various Electricity Boards / Supply undertakings the voltage at consumer's end is never constant. The reason being diverse loading duties arising in transmissions and distribution network. During the day time when the load requirements is more the voltage remains quite low and during night it goes up than the normal. As a result of these never ending voltage fluctuations there is frequent Tripping / Breakdown of the systems / machines and precious equipment's resulting into low production. To overcome and control these voltage fluctuations and to provide desired constant output voltages, Single Phase Servo Stabilizer gets used.
These types of Servo Stabilizers and power controllers essentially employ a Solid-State circuit, which controls the Servo Motor. The motor is mechanically coupled to the arm of a continuously variable Auto Transformer that feeds to the primary of a series control Buck-Boost transformer. The stabilizer / regulator output voltage is then compared with the reference voltage and the resultant error signal controls the Servo Motor providing true proportional control systems rather than On/off circuits.
