1. Lightning Arrestor:
Lightning is natural phenomenon and it can damage industrial premises and infrastructures
And can cause fatal accident for human beings working in the premises. E-Link Lightning Arrestors are Heavy Duty made from Low Carbon Steel, and subjected to copper bonding. Copper Bonding is carried out by process of high quality molecularly bonding pure electrolytic copper(99.9%) on the surface of the arrestor. Copper coating is 250 micron thick, which makes Lightning Arrestor unique in current handling during lightning strike. Four ancillary spikes and one main spike are provided for effectively taping of lightning current to earth. It protects building against lightning damages.
E-Link has developed special Back Filling Material as Earth Conductivity improvement Material (ECIM) which is filled around the Earth Electrode which enhances the soil conductivity in excellent way It swells considerably when mixed with water and remains water for long time. This improves bonding between soil and Earth Electrode which is crucial part in Earthing. It maintains moisture surrounding to the Earth Electrode. There is no need to recharge the earth pit in normal type of soil. Unlike salt, ECIM is insoluble in water and hence does not wash out during rain. It is corrosion resistive. ECIM is made from various minerals extracted from mother earth and hence it is soil and environment friendly. It mainly consists of Primary electrode which is directly connected to electrical equipment and the Secondary Electrode, also known as outer Electrode which is in direct contact with Earth. We use B Class Low carbon steel pipe as outer electrode & low carbon steel strip as inner or primary electrode. Both the electrodes are subjected to hot dip galvanization or copper electroplating. Special highly conductive material (SHCM), which is non corrosive, is pressure filled between the outer and Inner electrode. SHCM safeguards the Electrode from getting corroded over a long period of time inside the soil. Thus even if the Outer Electrodes get corroded after some years, Inner Electrode remains intact which increases the reliability and life of Earthing System in years.
