Paper Phenolics sheets are designed, formulated and prepared to meet specific industrial applications. Eagle Industrial laminates are of high quality standard, these technical laminates undergo scientific manufacturing process and strict quality control.
Eagle Industrial laminates are prepared by pressing the multiple layers of modified resin impregnated filler materials in hydraulic press under appropriate temperature & high pressure.The filler may be web of kraft paper or cotton fabric while the resin is modified Phenolic resin.
Eagle Industrial laminates are available in various grades and they are customised to meet specific requirement of specific industrial application.
Manufactured by using multiple layers of kraft paper properly treated with modified phenolic resin.These Phenolic laminates are used as Electrical insulation material and they are classified on the basis of their Electric properties & Water absorption.
Grades : Characteristics and Application & Availibility.
E-P1: Very good mechanical & adequate electrical properties.Suitable for low-tension at non-humid weather.
Applications: Battery eleminator, transformer & choke bobbin, tube light ends, control panel, condenser mountings, drill back up and drill entry and bobbin industries.
Availability:- The sheets are supplied in natural coffee brown color, but can be also supplied in Black color, RAL-7032 or any other desired color. The sizes available are 1220mm x1220mm, 1220mm x 610mm, and 1220mm x 980mm with the thickness from 0.5mm to 50.0mm.
This Grade is manufactured to meet the specifications as per IS-2036 of 1995 GRADE P1.
Other International Specification Met are : DIN 7735 Grade HP 2061, NEMA: L1 I 1989 Grade X, EN 60893-3-4-PFCP201.

E-P2: Combination of better electrical and good mechanical properties than Grade P1 and are especially suitable for power industry with High voltage frequencies. It has High Electric strength in oil.Good Electric Strength in air at normal humid weather.
Applications: Transformer covers, C.B.handles and side frames, distribution board fuse base etc.
Availability:- The sheets are supplied in natural coffee brown color, but can be also supplied in Black color, RAL-7032 or any other desired color. The sizes available are 1220mm x1220mm, 1220mm x 610mm, and 1220mm x 980mm with the thickness from 0.5mm to 50.0mm.

E-P3: This Grade P3 is having Excellent electrical and adequate mechanical properties, low water absorption suitable for high tension electric applications even under tropical conditions. This Grade P3 sheets can also be supplied with additional Melamine overlay for better Tracking Index.
Applications: Transformer & choke bobbin for power electronic, relay spacers, grid covers, selector bank insulation etc.
Availability:- The sheets are supplied in natural coffee brown color, but can be also supplied in Black color, RAL-7032 or any other desired color. The sizes available are 1220mm x1220mm, 1220mm x 610mm, and 1220mm x 980mm with the thickness from 0.5mm to 50.0mm.

E-P4: This paper Phenolic Grade P4 is having exceptionally very good electrical properties even in humid environment. This Grade P4 is having very very low water absorption.This Grade P4 is suitable for High frequency applications.
Applications: Cross-bar Switches, Wafers for Band Change switches, Insulation in X-ray equipments, Meter Fuses etc.
Availability:- The sheets are supplied in natural coffee brown color, but can be also supplied in Black color. The sizes available are 1220mm x1220mm, 1220mm x 610mm, and 1220mm x 980mm with the thickness from 0.5mm to 50.0mm.
This Grade is manufactured to meet the specifications as per IS-2036 of 1995 GRADE P4.

Type X meter panel: Type X Meter panel also known as Switchpanel (Type X ) :-
The type X Meter panel is crafted for specific use in switchboard panel, meter boards, Bus bar supports & arc shields. Its pure phenolic resin impregnated paper based sheets Manufactured as per Australian Standards AS 1795-1983, it can be easily used for Electrical Insulation Purpose. These Type X meter panels are good for machining , drilling, cutting without any unnecessary chipping, cracking , splitting or delamination. This is an asbestos free material having very low water absorption.
Type X meter panel can be supplied in thickness of 4.0mm to 30.0mm in Black color with Matt finish or any other special finish.The Sheets can be supplied in the sizes of 1220mm x 1220mm or any required cut sizes.

Bakelite Sheets: Bakelite Sheets is the commercial term generally used for Paper Phenolics as well as Fabric Phenolics. Bakelite sheets are available in different colours like White, Ivory, Light Graey, Black, Brown etc. The Bakelite sheets are also referred toas a commercial grade of Paper Phenolics.
